A Blues
band that Rocks - One
of the best R&B
Bands in Hants/Dorset
Robbie,
Just wanted to say thanks for the gig and for being flexible
with the timing for the England match.
I know they don't tend to show their appreciation quite as
flamboyantly as some (most!) crowds but, rest assured, when
I popped in yesterday, several people were using the word "excellent" and
I heard no comments that were short of being very positive
indeed.
Cheers,
Rich. (Social Club Secretary Mudeford Men's Club)
Hi Rob
and the guys
We had a marvelous party, thank you so much , everyone was delighted with your
music . I will certainly be recommending you to our friends and the businesses
that Mike and I look after.
Best wishes
Take care Tina
I recently
caught Shoestring blues in the act at the Plough. It was
obvious from what I saw and heard that they and the punters
were really enjoying themselves. From slow raw blues to the
more energetic numbers they cover, they play as one. This
band I will certainly go back to see and recommend to friends.
Sal.
When you receive a phone call from a friend, who say’s
what are you doing Friday night?
“
Why, you ask?” well we’re off to The King Charles
to see a band.
You tend to think hmm do I really want to go? What’s
the name of the band? What are they like?
Will I be disappointed? What do they play?
Well in this case, I can honestly say that I am more then
please to say that I did go.
Shoestring
Blues are one of the best blues rock bands that I have seen
for some time. This
was a great night for the band,
the audience started off on the small side, but they showed
there appreciation and knowledge of the great rock & smooth
blues that was emanating from the stage area. A great atmosphere
developed as more and more people we’re enticed up from
the bar to we’re the band were playing. The band just
took off, some sublime blues and stonkin rock from Iain the
bands lead guitarist, solid drumming from Rob the bands drummer
the other members Ian lead vocals/rhythm guitar & Riche
the bass had no choice but to go with the other two. A great
night and a great band well worth going to see.
Malcolm McPherson.
Thanks for the great music at the Plough Thursday night.
See you
soon....... John Lee & Caroline
I have seen the band play twice once at The Royal Oak and
then The Grange Hotel tonight, you really swing it for me,
Love Carole
Hi Rob
and the rest of Shoestring Blues. I saw you for the first
time at the Manor Arms on Friday, you were really brill,
particularly enjoyed the lead guitar solo bits. Iain is an
amazing guitarist.
